JJ Lin to be Jimmy Lin's groomsman
Taiwanese actor-singer Jimmy Lin has released the names of his groomsmen for his upcoming wedding ceremony, which will include Taiwan-based Singaporean singer, JJ Lin, Taiwanese singer-actor, Show Luo and China-based Hong Kong actor, Wallace Chung.
According to Jimmy, he will reveal the venue, time and sponsors of his wedding banquet to the media once they are finalised, but he will take security measures to protect his privacy. Only 50 guests will be invited to the wedding.
The 38-year-old actor explained that his wife, Kelly Chen, will select her best friends as the bridesmaids, elaborating that his son, Kimi Lin, would be a page boy for the wedding.
In late May, Jimmy Lin announced that he will hold a wedding ceremony sometime this year after being wed to model Kelly Chen for three years. The couple had dated for five years before getting engaged in 2008. A year later, Kelly gave birth to their son.

The Shanghai Film Festival Opens
The 16th Shanghai International Film Festival held its opening ceremony last night, with several hundred stars on the red carpet. Chow Yun Fat led THE MONKEY KING (SAI YAU GEI JI DAI LAU TIN GUNG) team that included Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Joe Chen Chiau-En, Peter Ho Yun Tung, Eddie Cheung Siu Fai. Other stars included Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Mini Yang Mi, Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yeuk Suen), Huang Xiaoming and others. Tsui Hark and Oliver Stone received "Chinese Film Award For Outstanding Contribution" and "Film Award for Lifetime Achievement" respectively.
Still recovering from his leg ailment, Huang Xiaoming walked the red carpet with the MOTHER ANDROID II and AMAZING teams. Tall Korean hunk Jo In-Sung walked the red carpet alone to the shrieks of female fans like at a fan club meeting. Sammi Cheng Sau Man was unable to attend, as Andy Lau Tak Wa, Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai made an appearance for BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM). Lau Tak Wa's fans welcomed him. Chow Kit Lun appeared as THE ROOFTOP's director and actor. He said that he participated in the music creation and action design as well.
The committee presented the Chinese Film Award For Outstanding Contribution Award to Tsui Hark. Andy Lau said, "I am very happy to be invited to introduce this friend. I have been in the business for over 30 years and made over 130 films, but I have only worked with him once. That time I learned how to act, how to find a movie that both the audience and I like. He enabled me to see the world from another angle, without forgetting my expectation and respect of you."
Tsui Hark said that he was very happy to receive the award. He thanked his collaboration partners, investors and good friend of many years Shi Nansun.

Vivian Hsu has fun with Sex Survey

Kenny Bee loves working with Jay Chou
Hong Kong actor Kenny Bee recently expressed his satisfaction from working with musician-turned-director Jay Chou again for his new musical martial arts film, "Rooftop".
HK Top Ten reported that the actor, who worked with Jay for "Initial D" back in 2005, was full of praises for the star during the movie's ticket pre-selling ceremony held in Taipei, Taiwan on 12 June, saying that working with Jay is like being on vacation.
"Being able to work with Jay when he is the director is really fun. It felt like a complete vacation. We had surprises and adventures together. I am really happy," the actor enthused.
Meanwhile, Jay Chou, who returned to Taiwan to promote the film despite being busy with his concert tour, revealed that he was most worried about newcomer Li Xin Ai's acting, but admitted that he was proven wrong when he saw how hard she worked.
Regarding rumours that Jay Chou played favourites when it comes to his Eurasian leading lady, Li Xin Ai denied it, saying that it was Kenny who took good care of her due to Jay's serious attitude during filming.
Kenny agreed, saying, "Jay pays no special attention to Xin Ai," and humorously added, "Both he and I gave more privilege to Eric Tsang instead!"

Is Elva Hsiao and Kai Ko's relationship on the rocks?
The May-December relationship between Elva Hsiao and Kai Ko has been under harsh media scrutiny since the two were rumoured to be together despite constant denials of the two being in a romantic relationship.
Despite the two's 12-year age gap, Elva and Kai have been spotted on numerous occasions acting very much in love, with their most recent trip being a late-night movie where the pair seemed to be on good terms.
On Wednesday, the 21-year-old actor suddenly unfollowed his beau's Instagram and Weibo accounts and his actions have led to questions if the two's relationship is on the rocks despite following her accounts again a few hours later.
Rumours of a rift building between the two have escalated since Kai posted on his site last Sunday, “You can't see what kind of person I am just from looking at me with your eyes.†After following the 33-year-old's accounts, he posted, “The only way to protect the ones I love is to become stronger.â€
During this time, Elva's fans have rallied around her with messages of support but one fan commented, “(Kai) isn't dependable; you should find a more mature and dependable man to have a relationship with!â€
Kai's manager has denied that the two have had any disagreements.

Michelle Chen is dating Alex Lam
Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen, who shot to fame with her role in "You Are The Apple Of My Eye", is speculated to be dating Hong Kong singer Gordon Lam's son, Alex Lam.
According to a report by Taiwan-based NOWNews, the duo had occasionally uploaded photos of them together to their Weibo page since this April. One of the photos featured the two of them with the message "Don't hurt my heart." Michelle then commented on the photo and said "I will persevere because I take this to my heart."
They had also been photographed hugging each other in Hong Kong. Michelle also cheered up whenever she was talking to an unidentified man on her mobile phone.
Informed sources revealed that Chen had requested her publicist to arrange more jobs in Hong Kong so that she could meet up with her boyfriend in the city during her breaks.
When asked to comment on her boyfriend's alleged infidelity, Lam's Japanese model-girlfriend Matsuoka Rina claimed that the news is "simply untrue". Chen also responded by saying that the article is fabricated and suggested for reporters to write more exaggerating stories.

Sandy Lam denies breakup
Furious with reports of her breakup with her boyfriend Jun Kung, singer Sandy Lam turned to her Facebook to refute the rumours, simultaneously announcing that she is indeed in a relationship with the 35-year-old drummer.
In her Facebook status posted on 10 June, Sandy admitted to her relationship with Jun Kung, saying "I was, I am and will continue to be in a most loving relationship with this beautiful person, [and] his name is Jun Kung," and expressed her wish that fans will stop believing in rumours spread by the tabloid.
The 47-year-old singer also urged everybody to stop buying tabloid magazines, referring to earlier tabloid reports that she and boyfriend Jun Kung have recently broken up due to the latter's cheating ways. She further stated that everybody needs to spread love and positive attitude through their actions and music.
It was previously reported through Asian Fanatics that the drummer allegedly cheated on Sandy with a model named Lillian in 2012, while recent rumours reported that the singer decided to end the relationship due to Jun Kung's excessive partying as well as his drinking and smoking habits. Additionally, Jun Kung was also absent from Sandy's Shanghai concert last month.
The "Paper Plane" singer has been in a relationship with the drummer for about two years and the couple have been living together ever since.

Joe Cheng to be discharged next month

It was reported that Taiwanese actor Joe Cheng will be discharged from the military in July.
As reported on Asian Fanatics, the "Gf*Bf" actor will be making his first appearance post-military at a fan meeting on 20 July.
Meanwhile, fans of the Taiwanese model-actor were ecstatic to see him on duty at the "International Maritime Day" recently, nearly a year after his military enlistment.
The 32-year-old attracted the public's attention with his appearance in the official Coast Guard uniform at the Keelung Harbour on 8 June, and even sat down to meet fans. He looked slimmer than before, and has already won praises all around for his participation in a Coast Guard operation seizing smuggled cigarettes in October last year. However, the actor suffered a relapse from his hip bone injury in November and has to be taken off duties for a while to undergo treatment.
Joe enlisted in the mandatory army service in August 2012, resulting in him being unable to participate in promotional activities for his drama "Love Actually".

Barbie Hsu rumoured to be pregnant, again

Is Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu pregnant?
The 36-year-old actress, who has always been thin, was speculated to be pregnant again when she was spotted looking fuller than her usual self in a group photograph published online recently, reported Groove Asia.
Barbie, who was photographed wearing a grey top and blue jeans with her mother and two sisters, one of whom is TV personality Dee Hsu. However, netizens were unable to take their eyes off the actress' rounder waist and hips, and rumours of her pregnancy started again.
There were also sources claiming that Barbie has reduced her workload and visited a Chinese physician regularly.
This is not the first nor the second time Barbie was speculated to be pregnant. In January, it was reported that Barbie was pregnant when she was seen buying baggy clothes.
However, the actress denied the rumour on Facebook, saying, "I will tell you the good news myself if there is one."
To date, there is still no comment from Barbie on the latest pregnancy rumours.
Barbie Hsu married Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei in November 2010, but the couple have yet to be blessed with a child.

Coco Lee spills the beans on Selina Jen's dating history
International songbird Coco Lee made an appearance on Selina Jen's co-hosted variety show Little Universe No. 33 yesterday, to promote her latest album Illuminate. During the program recording, the singer revealed that Selina was dumped by her boyfriend in high school and even chided the boy for being 'heartless'.
